A South African parliamentary committee and the National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) have asked the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) to allow more time to make its decision on Eskom's 60% price hike.
The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) has called on South Africans to take part in the public participation process around the proposed 53% Eskom price hike. The regulator will be publishing their consultation paper as well as Eskom's application on their website, and has invited written comments by 29 April.
